Sandeep “Sunny” Sethi was born into the hospitality industry. From an early age, he learned the basics of operations from his family’s business - Jackies International. Mr. Sethi held multiple roles in Jackie’s various divisions (restaurant, hotel & retail) and honed his skills over the first 18 years of his career. In 2010, Mr. Sethi transitioned to the Construction & Development side of his family’s business which he ultimately acquired and has been operating since 2012.
Mr. Sethi is a graduate of Millsaps College and regularly participates in continued education at UPenn Wharton & Emory.
Through his experience and local relationships, Mr. Sethi has accomplished well over 270M of development in Mississippi & Alabama with over 30% IRR for 10 consecutive years from 2012-2022.
INVESTMENT PARTNER
Aditya has a deep background in finance and strategy and has been a passionate investor in real estate for over a decade. He helps with strategic planning, investment decisions, and overseeing many aspects of the Company’s financing activities and investor relations.
Aditya has held senior leadership roles across a number of leading tech Companies including Amazon, Cisco, and VMware. He started out his career in investment banking at Citigroup. Aditya holds a degree in Finance and Economics from MIT and has done advanced coursework at the MIT Center for Real Estate.
INVESTMENT PARTNER
Matt founded Fivestars, where he was CTO through the $300 million SumUp acquisition. He is now the CTO of SumUp North America and head of enterprise products. As CTO, he spearheaded Fivestars’ transformation into a payments company, and today, he drives the technology and payments strategy for SumUp’s enterprise markets, as well as key product partnerships for SumUp.
Before Fivestars, he volunteered with TechnoServe in Uganda, was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, and an analyst at AVM, a global macro hedge fund. Matt graduated from UPenn's Management and Technology program as a Ben Franklin and Joseph Wharton scholar, where he earned dual degrees in Engineering and Finance.
He loves skiing and backpacking, and he grills a killer steak.
Matt marries his real estate investing experience as an LP in a number of successful single-target deals with his hardware and software experience as CTO and the extensive real estate tech network he’s built through over 50 angel investments to be the technology thought partner for the team.

After graduation from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in hospitality
management, Sledge began management training for MMI Hotel Group. He
served several MMI hotels in a variety of on property leadership positions.
In 1999 he
was promoted to Regional Director of Operations and served the organization as Vice
President of Operations from 2010-2017. In 2017, Sledge joined the IHG Hotel &
Resorts team as a Franchise Performance Support Director, supporting over 60 hotels in
the Greater Chicago and Southern Wisconsin markets for the brand. In 2020, he returned
to Mississippi to lead Certified Hospitality Management as Vice President of Operations.
Sledge is a graduate of the Executive Development Advanced Management Program at
Cornell University in Ithaca NY. Honored as a veteran hotelier, he holds the designation
of a Certified Hotel Administrator from The American Hotel & Lodging Association.
Sledge served 4 terms as President of the Mississippi Hotel & Lodging Association and
has served the Ridgeland Tourism Commission as a two-term president, vice president of
the Metro Jackson Hotel/ Motel Association, Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce, and is
currently serving on the Board of Directors for the MS Hospitality and Restaurant
Association. Sledge is also actively involved in the IHG Owner's Association Holiday Inn Brand Committee.
Mr. Sledge resides with his wife, Mary in Winona, Mississippi.
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
With over 8 years of dedicated service in the United States Air Force and a proven track record in business and project management, Juan is a versatile professional with expertise spanning construction management, real estate, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as our Director of Construction, he excels in overseeing complex projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards and budget constraints.
Additionally, as a successful real estate investor and property manager, Juan has a solid history of enhancing property value and managing rental assets effectively. His military background has honed exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail, which are further complemented by bilingual proficiency in Spanish and advanced capabilities in project management and bookkeeping.
Juan holds associate degrees in both Public Health and Business Management and is certified in various areas including real estate and tactical combat casualty care. Juan is committed to delivering excellence in every endeavor and continually advancing his expertise to drive impactful results.
DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE & PUBLIC RELATIONS
James “Chad” Phillips, RN, BSN, is a dedicated professional with a distinguished career blending nursing expertise and real estate development. After playing football at Ole Miss, Chad went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi College. Chad began his career in 2013 and has since demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment in a variety of roles.
Chad’s extensive experience includes critical roles in both trauma and neuro-intensive care units, where he provided high-level care in demanding situations. His role as a Registered Nursing Supervisor at The Madison Health and Rehab showcases his leadership and clinical
management skills, overseeing care in a 60-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility.
In addition to his clinical work, Chad is a successful real estate investor and developer. He manages multiple residential and commercial properties and has notably developed The Oaks Residence, a luxury assisted living facility. His real estate ventures reflect his ability to innovate and collaborate effectively across different sectors.
Chad’s dedication to his profession and community is evident in his numerous accolades, including the TEAM DAISY Award in 2017 and the Great 100 Nurses of Louisiana Award in 2018. He holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and is a Certified National Assisted Living
Manager, underscoring his commitment to excellence and patient safety. Chad Phillips is known for his exceptional work ethic, adaptability, and compassionate approach. His blend of clinical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit makes him a valuable asset in every endeavor he undertakes.
