The Mulberry Vicksburg was an adaptive reuse of a nine story Casino Hotel (originally built by Harrah's in 1993) into a mixed use property. 52 market rate apartments and office space combined with 42 hotel rooms, amenities, and a full service bar with food, Art Gallery, and underground Blues Club create a unique environment where guests & residents can live, work & play in a luxurious environment.
The Walthall Lofts was Bellamare’s first multi family development as well as its first experience with Historic Tax credits. Bellamare entered this project when the initial contractor failed to perform and the project was in distress. Through project management and leveraging local relationships, Bellamare completed the adaptive reuse project on time and delivered the 155 unit market rate apartment complex with amenities in compliance with the US Department of Archives as well as the needs of the owner. Through its Affiliate, Certified Hospitality Management, Bellamare managed the business through ramp up and delivered a stabilized cash flow during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Originally built as a Federal Courthouse and Post Office in the 1920’s, this faculty was converted to a mixed use development inclusive of 103 luxury apartments, a food hall, arcade & underground speakeasy by Bellamare. Due to the complexity of structure, Bellamare had to design built the project while maintaining the aesthetics and history to the satisfaction of the US Department of Archives, GSA and the owner.
The Holiday Inn Guin was Bellamare’s first public/private Joint Venture. By working hand in hand with the city of Guin and the USDA Rural Development, Bellamare was able to develop and construct a Full service hotel with a restaurant, bar and event/conference space which stimulated the local economy by creating jobs and providing infrastructure that has contributed to several new industries locating in the market.
The Hyatt Place of Columbus was Bellamare’s first project partial funded with New Market Tax Credits. By leveraging the NMTC created by the development, Bellamare was able to develop and construct the hotel in the midsts of the global recession.
GV is a 35 acre mixed use development in Mississippi’s top growth area. Its close proximity to Nissan Manufacturing of North America and Amazon’s Distribution center drives an incredible amount of demand for hospitality, restaurants, retailers, and entertainment. Phase 1, which consists of retail, restaurants, and hospitality are under construction, with phase 2 planned to begin in 2024.
Building on the initial success of Mulberry Phase 1, the subsequent developments will include a roof top beer garden as well as a world class Caribbean restaurant and entertainment venue. Phase 4 will include additional rental units & hotel rooms.
Although it is in the early stages of development, Madison Commons will be Bellamare’s largest and most complex development yet. Comprised of big box retail mixed with local shops, office space, hospitality and convention space along with a city park; Bellamare will take the idea of work - play - live to a new height.

Gulfport City Center is a Class A, urban, mixed-use development proposed for the heart of downtown Gulfport on a vacant piece of land located between the Hancock Whitney Bank Tower and the Port.
We believe that this development meets and exceeds the objectives of the City of Gulfport for downtown development to improve quality of place. To date, private developers have invested $5 million with zero dollars drawn from the state’s commitment.
